ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Service tribute to 'Gone with the Wind' film star, Leslie Howard, broadcast to mark his tragic wartime death on 1st June 1943 - when his flight from Lisbon to London came under attack from enemy aircraft. The plane went missing and was assumed lost.
Born on 3rd April 1893, Howard started as a bank clerk, but went on to become a huge cinema box office draw in the 1930s.
Writer JB Priestley, who broadcast with Howard many times, pays tribute.
