The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kevin John Edusei, with the Mexican composer Arturo Márquez's Danzón No. 2, inspired in the music of Cuba. Then the orchestra's Conductor Emeritus, Donald Runnicles, takes the baton to perform Gustav Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, a selection of six songs for voice soloists and orchestra, inspired by Chinese poetry. It features the mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor and the tenor Paul Groves, accompanied by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
