Rameau's Les Indes Galantes, an opera-ballet inspired by love in exotic places like Turkey, Peru and Persia, in a recording taken from the International Baroque Opera Festival in Beaune, France, with La Chapelle Harmonique and singers, under the baton of Valentin Tournet. Then, we welcome back the ѿý Scottish Symphony Orchestra, our ensemble of the week, to perform Mozart's Symphony No 35 in D major and Takemitsu's Requiem for Strings, conducted by the orchestra's Conductor Emeritus, Donald Runnicles.
