The Cure Parkinson’s Trust

The Cure Parkinson’s Trust has one bold aim – to cure Parkinson’s. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust funds innovative and pioneering research around the world which is dedicated to finding new treatments that can slow, stop or reverse ʲ쾱ԲDz’s.

Collaborating worldwide for a cure

Collaborating worldwide for a cure
The Cure Parkinson’s Trust’s International Linked Clinical Trials (iLCT) initiative is a programme where new treatments, many of which are pre-existing drugs already used for other conditions, are prioritised by a committee of world-leading experts to go to clinical trials for use in ʲ쾱ԲDz’s. Because the drugs are already tested as safe for use, they have the potential to get to the Parkinson’s clinic much faster.

Bringing people together for a cure

Bringing people together for a cure
Since its inception, The Cure Parkinson’s Trust has firmly believed in keeping people with Parkinson’s at the very heart of its work. Regular research update meetings are hosted by The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, bringing leading researchers and clinicians together to keep the Parkinson’s community informed of ongoing research and clinical trials should they choose to take part.

Giving hope for a cure

Giving hope for a cure
A key supporter and fundraiser for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, Alison Anderson, said: “The fear I felt when I was diagnosed with an uncurable degenerative condition has been replaced by the hope that the science is moving, ever closer, to a cure for ʲ쾱ԲDz’s.  The work that CPT is focused on gives me and many others the hope that one day, Parkinson’s will be a thing of the past.”
