Despite the odds against him, Chopper is determined to carry out his duty that Luffy entrusted him with. Then Bao Huang appears and announces that Luffy has been defeated by Kaido. Meanwhile, Kanjuro arrives at the attic where Momonosuke is hiding. Kanjuro disguises himself as Kozuki Oden, but Kin’emon and O-Kiku aren’t fooled. O-Kiku starts to attack Kanjuro, but she can’t bring herself to attack someone who looks like her beloved master. Kanjuro stabs her with his sword, and O-Kiku falls. Kanjuro and Kin’emon recall how they used to be best friends, but Kin’emon slays the treacherous Kanjuro. Then Kaido appears in the attic in front of Kin’emon, Momonosuke, and Shinobu. Kin’emon tells Shinobu to run away with Momonosuke and stands up to Kaido.
