The rebels lose their morale when they hear Bao Huang’s announcement about Luffy being defeated by Kaido. On the Performance Floor, Chopper fights hard but is attacked by Queen. Perospero unleashes another Candy Shower when Sanji comes to the rescue. On the rooftop, Kin’emon uses his last bit of strength to attack Kaido to allow Shinobu and Momonosuke to flee. Kin’emon remembers how he and Momonosuke became faux father and son in order to hide Momonosuke’s identity. Momonosuke also remembers their journey together. Momonosuke, who hears Luffy’s voice from under the sea, is distraught by the situation but musters his courage to convey Luffy’s message across the island and asks the rebels to keep on fighting to the death, which rekindles their fighting spirit.
