Euroradio Jazz Orchestra in concert

Soweto shares performance highlights from this year鈥檚 EBU Jazz Orchestra.

鈥楻ound Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.

Founded in 1965, the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra features some of Europe鈥檚 exciting jazz musicians. Each year musicians are selected by EBU members from across the continent. The jazz big band celebrated its 60 birthday this year, and took place in Ljubljana, hosted by RTV Slovenija.

Tonight, Soweto presents music from the 2025 Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, recorded live in May at the Cukrarna in Ljubljana. The compositions were composed and conducted by Slovenia's Matja啪 Mikuleti膷.

We will also hear from this year鈥檚 UK representative, trombonist and KOKOROKO member Anoushka Nanguy on her experience as part of the big band.
