New Build Snags and Budget-Friendly Summer Fun

Holly Hamilton gets answers, rights wrongs and fights for consumers everywhere.

What are your rights when buying a new build home? What protection is in place for you when something goes wrong, when a developer isn’t fixing issues and where can you turn for support and advice? How do warranties work, and do all warranties offer the same protection?

Holly gets answers from a solicitor, surveyor and consumer rights expert while producer Daniel visits a new build property with a snagging surveyor to find out what sort of problems frequently arise.

School’s out this week and the summer has started. It’s a time of year that can be challenging when it comes to budgeting, and if you have children, keeping the little ones entertained for what can feel like a long eight weeks.

Janine Maher from the Money & Pensions Service shares some great summer budgeting tips, and journalist Eimear McGovern has some fun activity ideas for all ages
