Naga Munchetty explores the landmark events of the 21st century via the lens of music. Part two: 2009 to 2016.

In 2025, ѿý Radio 3 challenged contemporary composers to tell the story of the century thus far with music. Each of the resulting "25 for 25" commissions is inspired by an event that has somehow defined the first quarter of the century.

Part two charts the years 2009-2016 - from the "Miracle on the Hudson" through to the Paris Climate Agreement. This episode features the music of Donnacha Dennehy, Natalie Holt, Karen Tanaka, Errollyn Wallen, Elena Kats-Chernin, Aileen Sweeney, Gavin Higgins and Anselm McDonnell.
