YolanDa Brown, sitting in all week for Soweto Kinch, presents 'Round Midnight - a weeknight celebration of jazz from across the spectrum, with a particular focus on new UK music.
YolanDa鈥檚 Friday Night Mixtape guest is Women in Jazz co-founder Lou Paley. Women in Jazz are an organization and creative network dedicated to addressing gender imbalances within the jazz music industry and supporting women who are artists within the genre including Celeste, Jas Kayser, and Yazz Ahmed.
Tonight, Lou has put together a special 30-minute mixtape spotlighting artists from across the generations who are pioneers and who have paved the way for women in jazz.
