The return of Idlewild! Roddy Woomble picks his Rock God
After a six year break, Idlewild are back! Frontman Roddy Woomble will reveal his Rock God.
2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Idlewild, so what better time for them to release new music. After a six year hiatus, the Scottish band are back with a new single and a new album to come in October. Frontman Roddy Woomble is Shaun's Rock God guest this week, he'll be revealing exactly who is his ultimate rock hero and why. Also on the show, new material from Robert Plant and 'Live & Dangerous' comes from a stripped-down Queens of the Stone Age, to celebrate the announcement of their one-off gig at London's Royal Albert Hall later this year.
