Tony Kearney hears the remarkable story of how an Edinburgh priest, Father Ninian Doohan, undertook an eight-day trek to celebrate mass at Everest base camp - a staggering four vertical miles higher than Ben Nevis.
Excavation has begun at the site of the former Tuam Mother and Baby ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ in County Galway to uncover the remains of nearly 800 children believed to be buried on the site. We hear from Dr Sarah-Anne Buckley, who has spent years documenting the voices of survivors and exploring Ireland’s institutional past.
