Bryan Adams

Rock legend Bryan Adams – who’s about to release his new album Roll With The Punches and headline Saturday night at Radio 2 In The Park in September - picks his favourite tracks.

Musician Bryan Adams takes us on his ten song journey on the latest episode of Tracks Of My Years.

Bryan joined his first band at fifteen when he was growing up in Canada. But it was his 1984 album Reckless - which gave him the hits Run To You and Summer Of ’69 - that made him a global star.

Bryan’s incredible career making high-grade, classic rock inspired a generation of musicians. He’s sold upwards of 100 million records, had multiple Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe nominations. In fact, his 1991 song (Everything I Do) I Do It For You not only won a Grammy, it’s one of the bestselling singles of all time and spent a record-breaking 16-weeks at number one in the Singles Chart!

In his native Canada, he’s the recipient of 20 Juno Awards and an inductee into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame. More recently, his best-loved song, Summer Of ’69, racked up its billionth stream on Spotify.

Since the late 90s, Bryan’s also forged a successful parallel career for himself as a professional photographer. He’s exhibited his work around the world and shot Hillary Clinton, Mick Jagger, Serena Williams, Muhammad Ali, Kate Moss and most of the Radio 2 presenters!

And his Golden Jubilee photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip hangs in London’s National Portrait Gallery.

Bryan’s about to release his new album Roll With The Punches and headline Saturday night at Radio 2 In The Park in September.
