Produced and directed by Finlay J Macdonald and first broadcast in 1969, this archive documentary gives an insight into the work of the crew of lighthouse relief vessel Pole Star. It serviced some of Scotland’s most remote manned lighthouses. There is also a look at the daily routines of the keepers themselves.
