Helen Mark presents ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine show – joined by regulars Rab Lennox and Jane Rea. This week is a special edition celebrating ‘Yarns’ – specifically the fourth edition of the now annual digest of Ulster-Scots poetry and prose put together by The Ulster-Scots Agency – for whom David Gilliland represents. Four writers also squeeze round a table – familiar faces and Kintra regulars Anne McMaster, Roy Ferguson, Morna Sullivan with newcomer Robb Morrow. They all enjoyed an evening of great craic, readings and music. Not only do they celebrate ‘Yarns’ and writing in your own Leid – there’s plenty of general chat about the influence of Ulster-Scots on everyone’s day to day tife.
