Colin Urwin’s trip to NZ and Lydia Todd the Drum Major Superstar!
Helen Mark presents ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine show alongside Rab Lennox, Rachel Hutchinson and – making a grand return – Jonnie Crawford!
This week, Helen catches up with songwriter and storyteller Colin Urwin to hear why he's heading to New Zealand to perform in a town on the North Island - as part of some Ulster-Scots themed celebrations. There's also a real treat in the form of an exclusive performance of his new poem 'A Settler’s Tale'.
Meanwhile, Jonnie speaks to Lydia Todd – in-between her picking up awards as a champion drum major! Also - Rachel catches up with some kids in Kilkeel enjoying an Ulster-Scots themed summer scheme.
As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
