This Sunday, Cathy MacDonald brings you an Edinburgh Festivals Special packed with heart, humour, and unforgettable voices from this year’s Fringe.

Indie-folk duo The Bengsons have made their Fringe debut with Ohio, a rousing and intimate musical about faith, loss, and the joy of choosing hope in the face of uncertainty.

Comedian Mark Watson, a Fringe favourite, joins us to celebrate 20 years since his first solo show, bringing his signature wit and thoughtful insight to the stage once again.

Jade Franks, the sharp mind behind Fringe First winning show ‘Eat The Rich’, will share her thoughts on the contradictions of class, care, and coming-of-age in elite spaces.

Comedian Zainab Johnson joins us to reflect on her debut Fringe show Toxically Optimistic; diving into identity, resilience, and the complicated beauty of staying hopeful.

And writer and documentary maker Darren McGarvey discusses his new book and powerful Fringe show Trauma Industrial Complex, exploring the ethics of storytelling, the commodification of pain, and the personal cost of public vulnerability.
