Elizabeth Alker showcases highlights from major summer music festivals including visits to this year's Edinburgh Festival and from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra and Sir Mark Elder performing the epic and rarely heard Delius Mass of Life. Among the starry line of performers are soloists Jennifer Davis, Claudia Huckle, David Butt Philip and Roderick Williams who join the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Chorus, London Philharmonic Choir.

Plus we shine a light on the former and current Radio 3 New Generation Artists performing at the Proms. Today, pianist Benjamin Grosvenor performs Ravel’s bluesy Piano Concerto with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ National Orchestra of Wales and conductor Ryan Bancroft.
