All creatures great and small feature in this episode of from the West Country. Animal lover Christina Trevanion visits the RSPCA’s West Hatch wildlife and animal centre to learn about the tireless work of the charity, two centuries after it was founded.

Meanwhile, in nearby Shepton Mallet, two teams of couples dash around a bustling antiques fair looking for bargains. In red are Celia and Geoff, guided by Kate Bliss. Over with the blues, Mel and Jase have agreed to veto each other’s buys if they don’t like them. Let’s hope their expert, Gary Pe, can settle any disagreements!

The red team start their shop by dismissing two wooden tables before Kate spots a well-known French glass pin dish with a bird on it. Unfortunately, Geoff doesn’t 'la-like' it! Inside, Gary asks his team about a set of wooden skittles, but they’re not bowled over by the price. Then it’s up country to Tim Weeks’s auction in Wiltshire, where the teams’ fate lies in the hands of the bidders.
