This morning we are opening up the school gates of memory and asking: what did you have in school that they definitely do not have anymore? Perhaps it was the overhead projector that never worked properly, the squeaky blackboard, the giant TV on wheels, or even the legendary sponge ball that lived in the gym cupboard. Whatever it was, we want to hear about the retro classroom quirks that have disappeared from today鈥檚 schools.

In The Yous Headlines, we are once again celebrating the wholesome, the unusual and the gently uplifting. Today鈥檚 story takes us all the way to Hong Kong for a bird-calling championship that proves humans are more than happy to flap, chirp and whistle if it means a chance at glory.

And of course, we cannot forget the music. Today brings another brilliant Airdrum Anthem, handpicked as part of our build-up to Radio 2 in the Park in Chelmsford. Every anthem this week celebrates artists who have appeared at previous festivals, so expect something big, bold and perfect for a bit of steering wheel drumming.
