Kamilah McInnis launches the show's brand new monthly book club in collaboration with Carolynn Bain, founder of Afrori Books, the UK's largest bookstore specialising in books by black authors. They reveal the first pick for September and invite listeners to help shape the club鈥檚 future.

Eight blue plaques have just been unveiled at St Augustine's Abbey in Kent. Jak Beula from the Nubian Jak Community Trust shares the story behind one of them - Saint Hadrian, a North African scholar.

Plus, singer and poet Adriana Lord previews her new show What's in the Salsa, playing at the Brighton Dome, and Mars Lord - doula, activist and Kent Make a Difference finalist - reflects on her work supporting black and brown women.
