Silver Stash in the Attic

Auctioneer Bee finds valuable items that stir emotional memories, while restorer JJ fixes a damaged and dangerous clock to help a widow raise funds for her favourite local charity.

For over 60 years, Grace has been a proud member of the Lanark community, raising her family in the town and volunteering in a local charity shop. However, her husband Sandy's illness brought her busy life to a sudden halt, and after a spell in hospital, he sadly passed away. A year on, Grace is still coming to terms with life without him and has decided to move out of the home they shared. Grace wants to find new owners for her treasured possessions as she prepares to downsize and has called in the help of auctioneer Bee and restorer JJ.

Bee uncovers a treasure trove of silver, a substantial collection of Spode ceramics and a stunningly illustrated book. The jewellery, however, holds more than just monetary value, as Bee finds it stirs powerful emotional memories for Grace. A Victorian table in the loft poses a problem for JJ when he discovers it’s too big to fit through the hatch, while a piece of rotting garden furniture requires drastic action to save it.

With Grace wanting to donate the auction proceeds to a local hospice, Bee and JJ feel the pressure to perform on sale day.
