Episode 15
Izzie and Saf clear a bungalow of quirky collectibles, including an Egyptian sarcophagus and a suffragette mannequin. However, they lose track of time during a cuckoo clock fix.
Izzie and Saf are off to the Derbyshire town of Chesterfield to answer an SOS from a couple whose home is packed with a weird and wonderful collection. They desperately need to reclaim space as their family is about to expand.
Paula and Neil's bungalow is crammed with quirky curios, including an Egyptian sarcophagus, a life-size statue of Jesus, cuckoo clocks and puppets hanging from the ceiling. Their incredible collection has taken years to build, but a recent bout of ill health has given them a new perspective on life. With two puppies about to join their family, time is running out to clear some clutter and make room for the dogs. The money raised at auction will help cover the costs of preparing for the puppies' arrival.
Auctioneer Izzie discovers many treasures, including a life-size mannequin of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, a large church lectern and a huge gong. Meanwhile, restorer Saf overhauls a chair created to commemorate Elizabeth II's silver jubilee and saves the blushes of a Roman centurion.
Fixing a cuckoo clock proves to be a tricky task, and some items are hard for Neil and Paula to part with. On auction day, selling such an eclectic mix of items proves a challenge for Izzie, and Saf feels the pressure as his restorations go under the hammer.
