Scots Opera Project and Heir of the Cursed posthumous album release.

Paul English hears from the family and friends of the late Kenyan-born Scottish singer and poet Beldina Odenyo about releasing Beldina's posthumous debut Heir of the Cursed album.

Len Pennie talks to Ayrshire tenor and creative director of the award-winning Scots Opera Project, David Douglas, about an exciting double bill comprising Celtic folk opera The Seal-Woman, and a Scots language version of Charpentier's chamber opera Actéon.

In 2021, musician and singer-songwriter Beldina Odenyo was on the verge of completing her first album, under the moniker Heir of the Cursed, when she died suddenly, days after performing at the Scottish Album of the Year Awards. Paul English speaks to Beldina's family and friends about their posthumous release of the debut Heir of the Cursed album.
