Writer and director John Binnie and Alyson Orr, composor and actor, tell Len about a new musical play, A Toast Fae the Lassies, which explores the life of Robert Burns through the perspectives of the three women who knew him best – his mother Agnes Broun, his widow Jean Armour, and his muse and lover Clarinda. It's on at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
And soprano Mhairi Lawson discusses the programme she's put together for The Sounds and Songs of Auld Lang Syne, a concert which is part of East Lothian's Lammermuir Festival of classical music, and taking place on Friday.
