This week, her guest is the multi-Grammy and Academy Award winner Jon Batiste, who calls in to share his favourite blues records and to fill us in on his ninth studio album Big Money! Jon started 2025 with a powerful performance of the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl and collecting the Grammy for Best Music Film for the documentary American Symphony and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Jon's career highlights also include working with Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Mavis Staples, Gary Clark Jr as well as appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as the bandleader and musical director.
