Main content

Freddie is determined to prove his blueprint for changing lives through cricket can work with other groups. In a bid to keep lads from Liverpool engaged, he throws them into their first match.

Having created a cricket team like no other in his home town of Preston and taken them on a life-changing tour to India, sporting legend Freddie Flintoff is determined to prove that his previous success wasn’t a one-off. He’s now set his sights on a much more ambitious plan, hoping to create several new teams of teenagers across the north west.

First, he heads to Liverpool and finds a club that is attracting teenagers for all the wrong reasons, so in an attempt to persuade local kids to give cricket a try, he visits a pupil referral unit, where he faces a tough crowd. Freddie also travels to Blackpool, and after meeting a far more receptive bunch of girls, holds try-outs at a local cricket club. However, it’s not long before he’s completely out of his comfort zone, as he’s never coached females before.
