Many left their homeland to take to the skies over southern England, whilst Welsh women worked as Royal Air Force plotters or in munitions factories in Wales to keep Britain safe. How did it feel to take to the air and face the enemy in mortal combat? How did these heroes gain victory for Britain, and what has today's Royal Air Force in Wales learned from their sacrifices?
