In 1977, Joan Armatrading released her album 'Show Some Emotion'. By then, the singer-songwriter was already a regular on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test'. On the show, Bob focuses on her performance on the programme in October of that year and we'll also hear from Joan chatting about her development as an artist during that time.
Also on the show, Bob's wonderful wander through the music of the decade including significant tracks from this week's Rock Date Diary and his '70s Country Classic.
