Mark Ronson: The Secrets Of A DJ

Mark Ronson's worked with the music world's A-list, but he started out as a DJ in New York. He tells how spinning records spun an award winning career.

Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Amy Winehouse: these are just some of the artistes who have asked Mark Ronson to funk up their music.

After first coming to the music world's attention with his work on Amy Winehouse's 2006 album Back to Black, Ronson has scored hit after hit with his collaborations and behind the scenes producing.

Now, as the Uptown Funk star turns 50, he has documented how he became as famous as the artistes he produces, in a new book.

Night People, charts his life as a budding DJ in 1990's New York.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Music Correspondent Mark Savage caught up with Ronson at the London shop where the DJ and producer first started his record collection.
