Black Lives in Music’s ‘Classically Black’ festival travels to Symphony Hall Birmingham with singer/composer Laura Mvula in concert with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

For its second year, Black Lives in Music’s ‘Classically Black’ festival travels to Symphony Hall Birmingham for a concert with locally born singer/composer Laura Mvula and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Matthew Lynch, in a programme which sets out to re-image classical music through the powerful lens of culture, experience, and creativity.

The concert is introduced by Kevin Le Gendre and features orchestrations and performances from Laura from her albums Pink Noise, The Dreaming Room, and Sing To The Moon.
