Adventurer and former Royal Naval reservist Ben Fogle makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. SSAFA supports veterans and serving personnel in the UK and other countries including Cyprus, Brunei and France offering help with issues like addiction, debt and homelessness.

The Radio 4 Appeal features a new charity every week. Each appeal then runs on Radio 4 from Sunday 0754 for 7 days.

Forcesline is our free and confidential helpline and email service, outside of the chain of command. It provides emotional support to those in the Armed Forces family who are feeling lonely, isolated or are struggling to cope with everyday life.

When any person in our Armed Forces family is in financial hardship and is struggling to feed their family or pay household bills, they can turn to SSAFA for support. Your donations will ensure they do not confront life’s darkest challenges alone.
