High Stakes GPS Sting and a Life Saved by Air Ambulance

Episode 3 of 15

A criminal gang targets northern farms, a huge barn fire threatens cattle in Leicestershire, and Paul Colgan reunites a farmer with the air ambulance crew who saved her life.

Across the north of England, police close in on an organised crime gang targeting farms and stealing high-tech GPS systems worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. After months of painstaking detective work, coordination across multiple forces, and help from farmers on the ground, a high-stakes sting operation is launched to bring the thieves to justice.

In Leicestershire, a huge barn fire devastates on a family-run dairy farm, threatening cattle and destroying vital winter feed. As the fire ignites, owner Deborah watches helplessly from her hospital bed, and husband Blaise and daughter Millie race to save their livestock. Firefighters battle through the night to bring the blaze under control.

And in Scotland, reporter Paul Colgan meets farmer Debbie Duffus, as she is reunited with the air ambulance team who saved her life after a brutal farm accident.
