It is 1888. In Newgate Prison, Miriam Cromer awaits the death penalty for the murder of Josiah Perceval, her husband's photographic assistant.

She has confessed that blackmail drove her to the crime, but a photograph sent anonymously to the 蜜芽传媒 Office reveals new evidence and Detective Sergeant Cribb must investigate.
