In taking part听in the "Lara King Lunch Challenge 2018" competition, you听provide us with information (鈥減ersonal data鈥�) about yourself. This data is your name, location, contact telephone number and brief background details about yourself. If you are selected as a winner, the 蜜芽传媒 may also collect your postal address as necessary to fulfil the prize.
The 蜜芽传媒 is the "data controller" of this information. This means that the 蜜芽传媒 decides what your personal data is used for, and the ways in which it is processed.
The 蜜芽传媒 will process your data only for the purposes of administering the competition. The legal basis on which the 蜜芽传媒 processes your data is its legitimate interests in running listener competitions of this nature.听听
The data you have provided will be stored by the 蜜芽传媒. The 蜜芽传媒 will not share your data with any other third party without your permission.
The 蜜芽传媒 will retain your data for the duration of the competition. If you are not successful, your data will be deleted in line with the 蜜芽传媒's Records Management Policy once the competition is finished. If you are a winner, your data will be retained on a log of winners for two years. At this time, your data will be deleted from 蜜芽传媒 records in line with the 蜜芽传媒's Records Management Policy.
Data protection law gives you certain rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to request from the controller access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of its processing, and to object to processing.
We protect your details in many different ways. These include staff training, investing in technology and following strict handling and storing procedures.

Terms and Conditions
听
1.听Entry is open to all UK residents aged 16 years or over at the point of entry (including Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), except 蜜芽传媒 employees or those of its affiliates and their close relatives or any person connected to the competition. Proof of identity and eligibility may be requested.
听
2.听The competition will be played during the Lara King programme 12-3pm Monday to Thursdays from Monday 3rd April until Friday 21st December 2018 (except when editorial requirements lead to a change in schedule or a change in programme content).听 This competition does not run on Fridays.
听
3.听During these programmes listeners will be invited to call in and register their intention to play by calling听蜜芽传媒 Radio Humberside鈥檚 phone-in number 08000 665959听which is free to call from landlines and mobiles.听No other method of entry will be accepted. Only one entry is allowed per listener.
听
4.听听Entry is only open during the times announced on-air.听Entries received outside these times will not be registered. The opening and closing times may change so please listen to announcements during the programme.
听
5.听听When listeners telephone to enter, a member of the production team will ask the caller for their answer to the qualifying question, their name, general location and a contact telephone number.
听
6.听An entrant will be selected at random from those who answered the qualifying question correctly and put on air to play the game during that programme. The on air game will be explained to the entrant and the audience.
听
7.听The entrant will receive a points total at the end of the on-air game which will place them on a leader board.
听
8.听The winner will be the entrant at the top of the leader board after the last round of the competition has been held.听If there is a joint-winner with the same points, the winner will be the person who answered the questions in the shortest time.
听
9.听The winner and entrants must ensure that they are available on the telephone number provided to take the call from the production team. If an entrant is not available after reasonable attempts by the production team, another entrant will be randomly selected for that stage.
听
10.听The 蜜芽传媒 reserves the right to prevent putting an entrant on air or take any entrant off-air, and disqualify them from the competition at any time if they display offensive, abusive or any other kind of behaviour unsuitable for broadcast.
听
11.听The winner will receive a DAB Digital Radio.听The person who sits second on the leader board will receive a 蜜芽传媒 Radio Humberside mug as a runner-up.听The prize is stated as above. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances. The 蜜芽传媒 reserves the right to substitute or supplement any element of the prize. The 蜜芽传媒 is not responsible for any element or change to the Prize that is outside of its control.

12.听Entrants put on air cannot re-enter the competition within two weeks of participating.
听
13.听Winners cannot re-enter the competition within three months of appearing on-air.
听
14.听Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.
听
15.听The 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 decision as to prizes awarded is final. No correspondence relating to the quiz will be entered into.
听
16.听The 蜜芽传媒 reserves the right to: (i) amend these terms and conditions, including but not limited to, the competition opening and closing times and the programmes included; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; (iii) where applicable, disqualify an entrant or winner, withdraw or substitute any prize should any entrant or winner at any stage in the competition exhibit inappropriate behaviour or language before or whilst on air and; (iv) cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

17.听The 蜜芽传媒, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered.

18.听This competition accords with the 蜜芽传媒's Code of Conduct for Competitions and Voting, details of which can be found at:

19.听The promoter of the competition is the British Broadcasting Corporation and the applicable law is the laws of England and Wales.
听
20.听Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.
