Dall Sheep
Dall sheep need the snow to be cleared from their winter grazing and so are found on the most exposed and windswept mountain slopes. In the autumn, the males focus on mating, smelling and kicking the females to find out if they are in season. Disputes with other males at this time of year are very common, especially if they've both set their sights on the same female.
