Another endearing little creature with its little bright eyes, lovely big whiskers is the brown rat. Bill Oddie also loves the way he holds his food. They’re really really enterprising, these guys - one of Bill's favourite animals. OK, it’s a rat. But, be honest, if we didn’t think of them as vermin - a word Bill absolutely hates - wouldn’t you look at this little fella and go ‘He’s really sweet’?
