• About the programme

  Tune in to Dave every weekday afternoon between 4pm and 7pm with the biggest Essex stories of the day.

  Our ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex roving reporters will be out and about in the county to bring you breaking news as it happens. All this plus great music, good humour and your stories.

  Many use ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ local radio as a starting point for their broadcasting careers, but Dave regards it as an end in itself. He has had a varied background; including owning his own firm of solicitors, a wine bar and bistro, run a disco and worked in nightclubs, as well as lecturing in law.

  Dave is a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Essex.
