The Capybara
These are the biggest rodents in the world – the Capybara! They live in the swamps and grasslands of South America and look like giant guinea pigs.
They are great swimmers and can hold their breath underwater for five minutes. When it’s really hot they will rest in the water with just their noses and eyes showing. This helps to cool them down.
