This is an African Wild Dog. Today they are endangered because they need a very large area to hunt in and are in competition with humans, lions and hyenas.

Wild dog pups are always on the go – they are very fit because when they are adults they may chase prey like antelope for several hours before they catch it. And they usually do. In fact they are more successful hunters than lions and, for their size, have one of the strongest bites of any animal.
