Burmese Python
Imagine a snake that can grow to 6 metres long, kills its prey by constriction and can eat animals as large as goats. It's a Burmese python and is one of the 6 largest snakes in the world!
The Python’s favourite food is small animals – usually rats or birds. They bite their prey holding it with their backward pointing fangs. Then they constrict it by wrapping their coils around so it can’t breathe.
