The work of a parenting worker
An insight into the role of parenting workers as part of the Youth Offending Service. We follow parenting development officer, Nicky Xandora, as she visits a family she once worked with. The mother was finding it difficult to cope with her daughter’s anti-social behaviour, and had one-to-one parenting sessions with Nicky, as well as some group parenting meetings. We see a group parenting session in action and find out more about its purpose and outcomes.
