Fossil fuels and the environment
An investigation into the use of fossil fuels and their impact on the environment. Most of the energy we use in Britain comes from fossil fuels. Oil, gas and coal are burned to give us energy. This also produces carbon dioxide, as well as sulphurous and nitrous oxides that can lead to air pollution and acid rain.
