A full length duet from Motionhouse Dance Theatre's piece 'Delicate'. This dynamic dance using advanced contact work is based on an argument between a couple. Seeing the duet in its entirety allows us to note the structure and form of the piece as well as the content. Dancers Lisi Perry and Lee Powell perform this dynamic and highly physical dance. The contact choreography reflects the narrative closely and we witness the intensity of the argument. A variety of lifts, throws and rolls are used, with the climax to the piece being highlighted by the most dynamic movements combined with loud breath sounds. The piece features reaching and pulling motifs together with the different lifts and supports.
