The Labour Party has joined the Foreign Office in calling for Saudi Arabia not to go ahead with the forced paralysis of a man as punishment for stabbing his friend ten years ago. The victim has been in a wheelchair ever since and a judicial order has now called for him to be paralysed as well, unless the 24 year old can find 拢180 000 in compensation. Former conservative MP Louise Mensch is campaigning politicians to intervene.
