The Great Egg Race

From 1979 to 1986, science-based show The Great Egg Race introduced ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Two viewers to teams of inventors who took on the challenge of building gadgets using limited resources and their own ingenuity. Initially focused on creating rubber-band powered devices to carry eggs the furthest possible distance, the series also made a household name of scientist Professor Heinz Wolff. This collection looks back at some of those inventions through a selection of programmes.
