Police and Crime Commissioner, Sir Clive Loader.
A ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ poll has found that more than a third of people across England and Wales still have no idea if there is a police and crime commissioner or a PCC serving their area.
Some 62 per cent are aware of their existence and seven per cent say they even know the name of their PCC, according to our survey.
Meanwhile, 41 per cent of people polled say PCCs ARE having a positive effect on policing. Ten per cent disagree.
Well, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ poll is published to mark the first anniversary of last year's PCC elections.
And in case you're still unsure, the role of the PCC in our case is Sir Clive Loader, who oversees the chief constables and police force spending.
So has this first year in office delivered improvements to our county's policing? Or is a year too soon to tell?
Sir Clive Loader spoke to Jonathan Lampon.
