The sinking of Rainbow Warrior
In July 1985, French secret agents sank the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior, killing one of the group's campaigners on board. Docked in Auckland, New Zealand, the vessel was preparing to protest against French nuclear testing in the Pacific.
The Rainbow Warrior's captain Pete Willcox, who was on board at the time, spoke to Witness about that day.
