UKIP chairman admits party can be 'shambolic'
The chairman of UKIP has admitted the party is sometimes seen as 'shambolic'' but stated the party does have sensible policies too.
Steve Crowther was asked: "Aren't you better off being an angry movement with a slightly shambolic policy base? Because that's what people like about you, they don't want you to be a clever political party".
He responded: "I actually agree with that, my feeling is we have to make it clear we are capable of having ideas...but if we are sometimes hard-edged or sometimes we stub our toe I don't think that's a problem, I think that is part of our brand".
