By the age of 23, Egypt's Aya Medany had taken part in three Olympic Games and claimed silver at the 2008 Modern Pentathlon World Championships. Having retired from the sport before the birth of her first child, she's now hoping to compete again in Rio de Janeiro. In the meantime, she's been mentoring young women and girls who, like her, struggle to balance the needs of their sport and Muslim faith.
